Another CNN anchor acts as a character witness for the very fine domestic terrorists in Antifa

Antifa — those thugs in the matching black hoodies and kerchiefs who have essentially taken control of Portland, Oregon from its police department — already got a shout-out on CNN from Don Lemon, who noted of the violent clashes in Charlottesville, “Listen, no organization is perfect. There was some violence.” But, you know, they were punching Nazis, so kudos — it was good violence.

Now CNN anchor Chris Cuomo is joining the Antifa fan club, who says the masked thugs are true to a good cause and just want social justice, even if they have to beat it out of people with bike locks.

We will note that President Trump did give a good, not “perfect,” answer on Charlottesville, but it took him three tries to really get it right — and despite the press conference in which he directly condemned them, the myth that he praised neo-Nazis as “very fine people” continues to live on in people’s minds.

Newsbusters described the exchange on CNN:

“You can’t say they’re designed to kill the people they don’t like!” the CNN host insisted, adding:

“There are certainly aspects of them that are true to a cause. That is a good cause. They want social justice and whatever they want in that context,” he gushed. As the two argued, Cuomo kept insisting that Antifa wasn’t malicious:

“What I’m saying is this, you don’t draw a moral equivalency between neo-Nazis and the people there to fight against them,” he said ending the segment.

That was Lemon’s argument, but here’s the thing — you sure as hell can draw a moral equivalency between neo-Nazis and Antifa — they’re both fascists. “But Antifa stands for anti-fascist!” Cuomo might argue, as if that made them any less fascist, intimidating and beating down dissent and free speech while dressed in their “armor” — usually skateboard pads spray-painted back to go with the look.

Oh yeah; the FBI has classified Antifa as a domestic terrorist group — a domestic terrorist group that just wants social justice, and that’s a good cause.

Yeah, they don’t like to show their faces — and they’re known for manhandling and attacking photographers and journalists who try to get their faces on camera. And look — here they are burning a “free speech” sign they stole from a protester at a pro-Trump rally.

By the way, this isn’t new for Cuomo; remember this gem?

Guys … Antifa are not good people. They’re thugs. They attack journalists who try to get video of their “good deeds.” Why are you defending a violent masked group that beats up reporters and violently puts down free speech?
