It was about time for 2020 presidential candidate Cory Booker to say something stupid again, and on Wednesday night his mind was on the assault on voting rights.
Voting rights are still under assault. We’ve watched as:
—Voters were purged from rolls
—Voter ID laws targeted people of color
—Elections were stolenWe need policy to preserve our right to vote. And it’s a shame we’re still fighting the same struggle of past generations. https://t.co/mACJOJYsDA
— Cory Booker (@CoryBooker) April 17, 2019
We’ve read the court decisions and still don’t understand at all how voter ID targets people of color; even if the state gives out photo ID for free at any DMV, it’s still too expensive for people of color and too difficult to obtain.
But didn’t Hillary Clinton warn us it was dangerous not to accept the results of an election? Maybe she should have a word with Booker … oh, that’s right, she’s now running around claiming the Georgia gubernatorial election was stolen from Stacey Abrams.
Is that the stolen election Booker’s tweeting about? Or 2016? Be specific, man!
Please tell us which elections were stolen.
Show your work.

Which elections were stolen?

"Elections were stolen"
I… I feel like this is pretty newsworthy… Care to elaborate?

Liar.

Something tells me they were removed from the rolls of places they weren’t supposed to vote anyway. For a party that likes to claim voter fraud doesn’t exist, they sure like to protect it.

VOTER ID – problem solved

ID should be mandatory.

Voter ID laws target people with no identification, just as they should.

I sent a package today at FedEx and they required a drivers license. I don’t think it is crazy to require someone prove their identity. Waive the fee – streamline the process.

Just how is requiring an ID to vote racist? An ID is required to fly, open a bank account, buy cigarettes and alcohol, cash govt checks, but require it to vote it’s racists. Only from the mind of a liberal, come on Spartacus, you know it’s just to allow non citizens to vote.
— MWAtl (@atl_mw) April 17, 2019
You need ID for driving, staying in a hotel, flying, cashing a check, getting EBT… so why not to vote as well? Why are “people of color” less likely to have an ID? I think that is a very racist thing to say. If elections are being stolen, then we need to ID voters.

What is about only being a person of color makes it impossible to get valid, gov't issued ID?
How do we know the people who were removed from the rolls aren't dead people or people who illegally registered in more than one county?
Think we're stupid or something?

Assault? More graphic inflammatory and untrue language … please

Can’t wait to see your documented proof of these outlandish claims. Wouldn’t unsubstantiated rumors be “inciting violence”?

Perpetuating the idea that elections have been stolen (they havent) is a direct threat to our democracy
