'His answer was perfect': NowThis News swoons over Beto O'Rourke's take on NFL players kneeling

It won’t surprise anyone to hear what Texas Senate candidate Beto O’Rourke told an audience about his feelings on NFL players kneeling during the National Anthem. What is surprising, though, is how NowThis has managed to top its previous “campaign spots” disguised as news.

The clip kicks off with “His answer was perfect” superimposed over the video, so it’s pretty clear where NowThis stands on the issue.

Well, they’re not quite up to Reuters’ level of fawning even with this video, but yeah, it’s another free campaign spot.
