Michael Moore rallies the troops and wishes them 'Happy Resistance Day' this July 4th

Something we learned from a recent thread is that Republicans tend to be more likely to call themselves “extremely proud” to be Americans regardless of who’s in the White House.

So while most of us are celebrating Independence Day, Michael Moore is instead wishing his followers “Happy Resistance Day” — he’s seemingly under the impression that’s he and his followers are still fighting the Revolutionary War.

Happy Resistance Day!
The revolt continues, some 242 years later.
C’mon, people! Let’s finish this!

Let’s finish what? This plate of pork chops?

I think you can handle that family-sized bowl of pasta on your own, just fine. https://t.co/CSMnudPO6T

You are certainly revolting.

What does that even mean?

Alert the Windsors? https://t.co/kQQNwmhz7x

"Lets finish this!"
When you say this, I'm assuming you mean the buffet at Golden Corral. https://t.co/ytRMuOM8ia

The only thing you’ll finish is a dozen donuts.

How’s 18 months of resistance working out?

— Conservative in Marin (@JNOV57) July 4, 2018

Don't worry, with your party going full on Castro/Chavez, the Dems are finished.

— Life is Good (@stacyslay) July 4, 2018

Yeah, let's see how that works out in November. PLEASE double down again on Abolish Ice!

— Scott Tiny Barr (@ScottBarrComedy) July 4, 2018

You would have protested the founding fathers.

— Anthony Ryckman (@AnthonyRyckman1) July 4, 2018

Are you actually encouraging an armed insurrection? Or secession?

What tyranny are you rebelling against exactly? I'm not entirely convinced you have any real idea of what you want.

Yeah, no. https://t.co/TzW2w96VwU
