Dana Loesch has a three-letter response to sculptor's lawsuit against the NRA

Molly Prince reports Wednesday at The Daily Caller that a sculptor is suing the NRA over a one-second clip of his statue that was used in the NRA’s “Clenched Fist of Truth” video.

Prince reports:

The lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and is seeking $150,000 per infringement, according to ArtNews. The number of infringements are to be determined based on proof that will be presented in court. [Anish] Kapoor is also demanding the NRA return to him any profits acquired through the use of Cloud Gate and pay his legal fees.

Kapoor first condemned the NRA and its use of Cloud Gate as part of a joint statement with anti-gun group Everytown for Gun Safety in March, reported the Chicago Tribune. He later said the sculpture was being “appropriated by the NRA to perpetuate its hateful ideology.”

“Cloud Gate” is the name of the sculpture, although most people just call it “The Bean.” It’s barely visible about 17 seconds into the NRA’s video, but blink and you’ll miss it.

NRA spokesperson Dana Loesch responded to news of the lawsuit on Twitter.

Let’s sue Bill de Blasio and Elizabeth Warren for posting images of themselves posing with the “Fearless Girl” statue on Wall Street, just for fun.
