The story in The Washington Post seems to think that U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley’s recent “I don’t get confused” declaration is what’s responsible for her surge in popularity, but we’re pretty sure there’s more to it than that.
According to a new Quinnipiac University poll, Haley is enjoying an approval rate of 63 percent, with 17 percent of Americans disapproving. Among Democrats, she enjoys a 55 percent approval rating.
Nikki Haley appears to be the most popular member of the Trump administration — after she was apparently the nation's most popular governor https://t.co/zbFUr7zMuj pic.twitter.com/snF6aY1fMk

Hmm … a woman candidate for president in who’s actually likable and not under investigation.
And don’t try to drag me saying “wow most popular member of the Trump Admin is like being the most popular <unpopular thing you think is funny>”, you nerds. Nikki Haley is 63% approval & only 17% disapproval — including 55% approval & only 23% disapproval among ***Democrats***. pic.twitter.com/rhYlyisKvk

It's almost as if one with American values who isn't a corrupt douchebag can find support among a wide swath of the population. Who knew?! https://t.co/OsgCCsvXx2

As my former boss, I know firsthand that Amb. Haley is the real deal. Never met a more down to earth politician — and I've been around a lot of them. Top notch public servant who has surrounded herself with a top notch staff. https://t.co/6wbV4wepR5

My current (admittedly long odds) prediction for 2020:
Trump will either resign or decline to run for a second term sometime in 2019, setting up Pence/Haley to run against Gillibrand/Brown. https://t.co/ic94POQUSD
