On Monday night, we heard from Rep. John Ratcliffe, who with Rep. Trey Gowdy had reviewed thousands of texts between FBI agent Peter Strzok and his colleague Lisa Page and determined that there was “a manifest bias among top FBI officials” against Donald Trump.
The Washington Examiner’s Sarah Westwood has been reviewing the texts as well and noted a couple that stood out.
FBI texts that stand out: Peter Strzok says he has "a sense of unfinished business" that was "unleashed" by the Clinton email case. "Now I need to fix it" Strzok says. Later, he calls the Russia probe "an investigation leading to impeachment" BEFORE he has joined the Mueller team pic.twitter.com/3aFifIoQ73

“For me, and this case, I personally have a sense of unfinished business,” Strzok wrote. “Now I need to fix it and finish it.”
Strzok also appears to say he doesn't personally believe the FBI will find anything related to collusion. Says "I hesitate" to take the spot on Mueller's team "in part because of my gut sense and concern there's no big there there." pic.twitter.com/uH3VaAS1BW

“You and I both know the odds are nothing,” he texted, noting that he hesitated to join the investigation “in part because of my gut sense and concern here’s no big there there.”
And these are just the texts that were preserved.

Careful, now. Remember how liberals will stomp their feet and pout if you dare impugn anyone in the intelligence community; that would be as dangerous to our democracy as refusing the accept the results of an election.

The latter is massive, and the biggest revelation. It shows that Strzok joined the Mueller team with a clear goal in mind. https://t.co/CiLXh4N2YU

I don't want anymore qualifying commentary about how "the majority of agents are heroes…." Heroes put vital principle before their own interests. https://t.co/yCKOmVawje

Jesus, just when you think #Strzok's texts couldn't get any worse.
The bigger question is, why do Strzok and McCabe still have jobs at the FBI? #ReleaseTheMemo https://t.co/JFF3tPjUR1
