Lena Dunham unclear on whether feminism is incurable altogether or if bros are powerless to help

In retrospect, we’re thankful that Lena Dunham decided to take such an active role in Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign, in part because she admired Clinton so much for surviving so many “horrific gendered attacks.”

If a woman who thought her feminist credentials might have taken a hit because she’d never had an abortion but wished she had wanted to sit down and talk face-to-face with Clinton about the true meaning of feminism, all the better.

Dunham had a new word of wisdom Monday directed to “certain bros” out there: there’s no cure for feminism.

No one’s entirely sure how feminism is contracted, either, although it seems to spread quickly in communal living spaces like college dorms.
