It’s been quite a while since we’ve cracked open our Handbook of Racial Code Words, which expanded greatly during Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign and grew to include such entries as urban, crime, kitchen cabinet, and breadbasket.
After witnessing an online exchange between NRA-TV host Colion Noir and Moms Demand founder Shannon Watts Wednesday night, however, it’s clear that we need to start compiling a Handbook of Misogynist Code Words.
The 146th NRA Annual Meetings and Exhibits are right around the corner, and Noir noted that Moms Demand will be in town to protest the event.
So @shannonrwatts & her boxed wine ya-ya sister hood of anti-gun opportunist are going to ATL to troll the #NRAAM2017 ? #WacknessAbound

We were so distracted spitting our drinks out of our noses we missed the misogyny clearly on display, but Watts did not.
.@NRA spokesman accuses @MomsDemand volunteers of drinking boxed wine because… we're women. Get it? #MisogynyAbound https://t.co/dXFuc5UwkG

Note to selves: Add “boxed wine” to Handbook of Misogynist Code Words. Shockingly, Noir was unrepentant. Obviously, he’s banned from this site … right after this one last tweet.
