Berners spoil historic moment of party unity by staging mass walkout at #DemsInPhilly

As Bernie Sanders moved Tuesday evening that the Democratic National Convention nominate Hillary Clinton for president, he managed to cast in stone a historic moment in American history.

Reporters covering the convention noted that the chants and protests that had marred Monday’s gathering were largely absent, and Sanders’ concession at last brought unity to a divided party.

That really was a beautiful show of unity, with the notable exception of the die-hard Sanders supporters who staged a mass walkout.
