Matt Drudge had a fit over Ted Cruz being awarded all of Colorado’s GOP delegates this weekend without a primary or a caucus, asking on Twitter if George Bush would have to “invade Colorado to make it a democracy.”
That level of outrage was hard to come by online, as many placed the blame squarely on Donald Trump for not knowing the rules, which Colorado put in place last August.
Just FYI, @realDonaldTrump, negotiating with Iran/Russia etc is more complicated than figuring out you need delegates to win the nomination.

.@tedcruz showed up to the @cologop convention. @realDonaldTrump only sent a surrogate. Cruz swept. Elections are won by those who show up.

I've attended CO GOP conventions for years. It requires organization & attn to grassroots to win. Cruz had it. Trump didn't. End of story.

National GOP chair Reince Priebus noted Monday night that there was nothing new or mysterious about Colorado’s awarding of delegates.
The rules were set last year. Nothing mysterious –nothing new. The rules have not changed. The rules are the same. Nothing different.

That didn’t stop someone from registering the domain coloradovotesmatter.org on Monday in order to announce a protest at Colorado’s GOP headquarters Friday afternoon:
The Colorado Republican Party shamefully silenced its voters this election season. We demand that Colorado give the power to vote in the Presidential Primary to the voters. We will exercise our right to assemble and peacefully protest the corruption of the Colorado GOP and disenfranchisement that we the voters have suffered.
How many people will show up to protest nearly a week after delegates were awarded remains to be seen, but it’s clear many are unhappy with the process and aren’t letting go.
@Reince Keep telling yourself that, buddy.

@Reince They changed the rules in August.. after Trump announced his run.. Quit lying. you need to step down or be removed.

@Reince you put the last nail in coffin for the @GOP
— vcutrader (@vcutrader) April 12, 2016
@Reince that answer is such bullshit. The day they decided this you should have stepped in. Voters no longer voting is not American!
