There certainly weren’t any shocking revelations during Wednesday night’s #DemTownHall on CNN; both candidates stuck closely to their stump speeches. If there was any genuine surprise, it was Hillary Clinton’s claim that she’d never thought of running for president while she was serving as secretary of state under President Barack Obama, who defeated her handily in her 2008 presidential run.
