There have been so many takes on Hillary Clinton’s use of a secret home-based server rather than an official government address to send (and delete) emails, it takes something really unique to break through the noise and make us reconsider the whole mess.
Here’s a theory from Garance Franke-Ruta, Washington editor of Yahoo! News, that really made us stop and sort of think — about clearing off our desks and slamming our heads against them repeatedly until unconcious.
Sort of thinking Clinton not following the rules (re: email) is also a core part of her message (re: being 1st female president).

.@thegarance I have no idea what this could possibly mean. But please do not explain it.

So, maybe Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s deletion of some 30,000 emails at her own discretion is just her way of saying she’s not afraid to break the rules, and what greater rule is there to break than becoming the first female president? Breaking glass ceilings is her business.
@thegarance Yes. That's much more likely than Hillary not following the rules because she wants to be president. Much. More. Likely.

sometimes, when you're going for that #SmartTake, you should check to see if it actually is #Smart first @thegarance @justkarl

.@thegarance that might be why it's worth it to actually think, as opposed to "sort of" thinking.

Sort of thinking you didn't actually put much thought into your tweet. Accountability & national security matter 2 people. Derp. @thegarance

Setting up your own secret email server in your home is pretty badass, not to mention cool. For a woman, that is.
.@thegarance Stop right there. Being a woman doesn't mean breaking the rules.

.@thegarance Yes what a great message to send, our first female president is a money launderer who breaks federal law as she pleases
