The Washington Examiner on Thursday reported that President Obama, through the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is attempting to effect gun control by putting on the fast track a ban on AR-15 ammunition.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives this month revealed that it is proposing to put the ban on 5.56 mm ammo on a fast track, immediately driving up the price of the bullets and prompting retailers, including the huge outdoors company Cabela’s, to urge sportsmen to urge Congress to stop the president.
…
Wednesday night, Rep. Bob Goodlatte, the Republican chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, stepped in with a critical letter to the bureau demanding it explain the surprise and abrupt bullet ban.
Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal called the ammo ban “less honest” than a straight-out gun ban.
@BobbyJindal Well said!

Banning ammo is the same as banning guns, except it’s less honest. http://t.co/r6clvRvT6y

@BobbyJindal Funny, but my Constitution doesn't have an exception to Second Amendment for executive orders. Does yours? @instapundit

@BobbyJindal Both are unconstitutional and so damned treasonous as to be provocative of the "next 1776". Sultan Soetoro must know that

@JHWalz32 @laurieabennett @BobbyJindal It is. The 2nd Amendment says "shall not be infringed" on purpose. Tyrants first infringe, then take.

Obama's America: Admin giddy about cutting a deal to allow Iran nukes, but gnashing teeth to ban ammo & guns for Americans #Killing2A

With the world ablaze, debt/poverty exploding and the boarder being invaded, Obama thought he'd ban some AR-15 ammo for kicks.#tcot #PJNET

So the President can just ban ammo? And take over the internet?
