Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-La.) gained a great deal of attention for a bit of constituent outreach last weekend, when she helped a man do a keg stand at a Louisiana State University tailgating event. The photo was disseminated widely on social media, and Monday Landrieu defended the photo, saying “It’s just the way we roll.”

According to a piece in Roll Call, Landrieu said that Republican critics of her keg stand “need to get a sense of humor, and they need to get a life — it’s just the way we roll.”
