As Twitchy reported earlier, the House Oversight Committee released a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland and FBI Director Christopher Wray about a whistleblower who has “very credible” information that Joe Biden, as vice president, was involved in a bribery scheme with a foreign national. We’re afraid that Rep. James Comer and Rep. Charles Grassley are getting our hopes up for nothing, but Grassley has been on the Bidens’ case for a while now and he hasn’t been wrong — it’s just that nothing ever comes of it.
George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley has taken a look at the letter and given his two cents:
Sen. Grassley just confirmed that a subpoena has been issued that alleges a criminal scheme involving then Vice President Joe Biden based on "very credible" information from a whistleblower. They are seeking a specific document detailing the alleged scheme…

…Chairman Comer has confirmed that the whistleblower is alleging a specific "bribery scheme with a foreign national." The document appears to lay out the alleged allegations and Grassley confirmed that he has not seen the document…

…The whistleblower allegations place the continued refusal of AG Garland to appoint a special counsel, a position that some of us have long criticized as inexplicable given past references to the president. https://t.co/utpnIxLkW1

…Grassley just told Fox that he is concerned that this unclassified document could be "suddenly classified." The Congress is also likely to face claims of privilege over ongoing investigations.

Speaking of “suddenly classified,” whatever happened to those classified documents Biden had in his garage and elsewhere? And Turley’s right … they’ll just say they can’t reveal details of an ongoing investigation … that just keeps going and going, nowhere.
…Now the Washington Post is now reporting that Weiss is close to a "charging decision" on Hunter Biden. The Justice Department is likely to use that ongoing investigation as a basis to withhold this document and other information.

Yep.
What happens first:
1. Whistleblower "disappears"
2. Government suddenly classifies document to provide cover under the pretext of an "ongoing investigation."— Wolf 🇺🇸🐺 (@ThePatriotWolf) May 3, 2023
Ten years ago I would have not believed that the FBI would be overtly partisan and ignore corruption by our leaders – now, sadly, I accept that it might be true.

The truth will dribble out in a deep state/Democrat effort to get Uncle Joe to step aside in 2024.

If the Democrats thought they had a bench, maybe, but Gavin Newsom isn’t gaining much traction with his “Campaign for Democracy” tour.
Oh, great! Another round of hearings that result in no prosecution! Yeah!

The FBI has a habit of losing documents of this type. Have we learned nothing from their FISA abuse?

Breathtaking corruption.

That's nice. This will go nowhere.

Yeah. It’ll never see the light of day.

I'm sure the FBI is mobilizing for the pre-dawn raid… right after they pull their people back from investigating NASCAR nooses and larping as Patriot Front

I’m sure that specific document is currently on fire 🔥

Likely outcome is they charge Hunter on some minor thing and stretch that whole thing out as long as they can and use the “ongoing investigation” canard to distract & avoid addressing Joe’s corruption https://t.co/l8WPjHvHNq

They’ll stretch it out until after the 2024 election.
Remember when a whistleblower was enough to get President Trump impeached? Whistleblowers used to be considered heroes.
