Right after Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said he was looking at building a state prison next door to Disney World (he was joking, people), plenty of liberals like Tom Nichols applauded Disney for owing the cons by tweeting about its Pride Night event at Disneyland (which, last we checked, isn’t in Florida). It’s a good thing they’re having it in California because as we reported, Equity Florida has issued a travel advisory warning the LGBTQ community not to travel to nor relocated to Florida.
NPR may have pulled its 50+ Twitter accounts from the platform to protest being labeled “government-funded media” (which it is), but we knew that individual NPR employees wouldn’t be able to say away. NPR has a media analyst — its own Brian Stelter — who got a kick out of Disney owning DeSantis so hard.
