Speaking of slow on the uptake, liberals just can’t seem to understand that conservatives don’t want children exposed to sexually suggestive drag shows, and Libs of TikTok has posted plenty of videos from these so-called “family-friendly” drag shows. Is it too much to ask? But of course, liberals blow it out of proportion, and as PBS reported, recent headlines about all-ages drag shows can obscure the art form and its rich history.
We know Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is a fan of drag — she appeared on “RuPaul’s Drag Race” and gave a speech on drag and patriotism. It’s not drag queens you need to worry about, she says; it’s those opposed to all-ages drag shows, because those are just cisgender straight men who are projecting their own pedophilia.
