This is great. As you probably know, former Deputy Assistant Secretary for Spent Fuel and Waste Disposition Sam Brinton was charged last November with felony theft of luggage. Brinton, “the country’s first openly gender-fluid senior government official,” was sent packing by the Department of Energy in December. Of course, Republicans pounced on the news.
Thanks to coverage of the alleged thefts on Fox News, a Tanzanian fashion designer based in Houston was able to ID one of her dresses that disappeared with her luggage back in 2018.
