It’s been weird seeing “Harry Potter” fans struggling to reconcile their love of the book series with author J.K. Rowling’s “transphobic” statements. We’ve seen people burning their “Harry Potter” books on dad’s backyard barbecue grill. One grifter is using his book-binding skills to create copies of the book that have Rowling’s name removed, so you can still enjoy the books without seeing her name.
A lot of people are sad because they grew up on the “Harry Potter” books and now feel betrayed; case in point:
Harry potter was my childhood. I loved it so much I sleeved out my whole arm around 2012. Im honestly embarassed about it now. Fuck jk rowling, fuck your terf game, and fuck your excuses "allies" pic.twitter.com/oTWfTjZTjX

So you are saying you regret a decision you made to permanently alter your body when you were younger? https://t.co/O53c2O5O60

Damn.
Well, at least people can get laser treatments if they want tattoos removed (although I think hers are cool). Wish the "affirming care" she's advocating for kids would be so reversible…

Nothing says Iām embarrassed about my tattoo quite like posting a selfie of it. And even a tattoo can be covered up or removed. Other decisions truly are permanent.

Permanent reminder of a temporary feeling.

Now what other āyoungā decisions could one make then later in life regret.

Yea thereās a reason why Iām tattoo free in my 50s. Because I knew one day that I would eventually be in my 50s.

Could just lop off the arm….isn't that the answer to parts that you are unable to accept as your "authentic self"? Realize your truth…

I'd be more embarrassed about the nose ring.

Will hospitals remove an arm if a person no longer identifies with it?
