As Twitchy reported earlier, a blue-check historian — whose knowledge of history apparently only goes back two years — was “horrified” by Republicans’ disrespect for President Joe Biden as he delivered his State of the Union address Tuesday night. Republicans booed, and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene even stood up and shouted “Liar!” at one point when Biden brought up the old Democrat scare tactic of claiming Republicans were going after Social Security and Medicare. Of course, to her it was OK to boo Donald Trump in 2018 because he wasn’t telling the truth; “Where were the lies?” Tuesday night, she asked, inviting Twitter to list them in detail.
CNN analyst Adam Kinzinger tweeted Wednesday that he mourns the loss of decorum by the GOP — exactly what a “Republican” CNN analyst would say. He added that Biden “absolutely crushed” the GOP.
I get it, the knee jerk reaction is to love or hate @POTUS speech based on your politics.
Without a doubt, Biden absolutely crushed the GOP “dumb yellers” masterfully. Every President will try to recreate and fail.
