Surprise: Adam Kinzinger is already a senior political commentator for CNN

The only thing that wasn’t certain was whether former Rep. Adam Kinzinger would wind up as a contributor for CNN or MSNBC — it had to be one or the other. We certainly didn’t think we’d have the answer this quickly, but CNN is the lucky winner of Kinzinger’s analysis and insight. Know that CNN will consider Kinzinger one of their “conservative” contributors, just like the Washington Post keeps on staff “conservative” columnists Jennifer Rubin and Max Boot.

There must have been talks while Kinzinger was still in office for this to happen this quickly.
