As someone in the comments on this tweet remarked, where is the President Joe Biden who gave that fiery but peaceful “Red Speech” in Philadelphia? Biden was spitting fire and clenching his fists. But it was just yesterday when Biden seemed completely lost after giving remarks in New York — he just stood there at the edge of the stage, apparently waiting for Jill (or the Easter bunny) to come and lead him out of the room.
Biden’s currently schmoozing with world leaders at the United Nations, so it’s understandable that he wouldn’t take questions. It’s always a treat though to hear his handlers herding the press out of the room while they shout questions that will never be answered.
