Back in late August, Washington Post tech and culture reporter Taylor Lorenz tweeted that the account Libs of TikTok had weaponized its audience to terrorize a children’s hospital, of all things. Babylon Bee CEO Seth Dillon offered a $20,000 cash reward for information leading to the arrest of the person behind the alleged bomb threat. And as we told you Monday, Lorenz reached out to Libs of TikTok for comment on a big story her colleague was writing. “We mention in the story that your account has helped to foster violence and that your posts led to death threats against Boston Children’s Hospital, and a bomb threat caused the hospital to be evacuated.
Christopher Rufo decided to look into this alleged bomb threat, speaking to the Boston Police Department.

BREAKING: email obtained by @realchrisrufo shows the Boston Police confirming they DID NOT receive a 911 call about a bomb threat at Boston Children’s Hospital. Many questions remain. Will any journalists investigate? pic.twitter.com/LbRsw7FEDW

How was @bostonpolice tipped off to a supposed bomb threat which turned out to be a false alarm at BCH?

The story has been corrected to “our earlier study erroneously noted a bomb threat was made prior to publication. In fact, Taylor phoned in the bomb threat after the story was published.”

Let's recap:
Liberals accused @LibsofTikTok of inciting a bomb threat that never happened.
And this fake incident was used to try to silence her.

I don't know if Lorenz made it up.
But I'm 100% sure she didn't bother to find out if it was made up or not. https://t.co/dDvHNNVqzG

Lorenz has the full investigative might of the Washington Post at her disposal. Which of Libs of TikTok’s followers was weaponized to call in a bomb threat? How did the police learn about it? How’s the investigation going? These are all questions that Lorenz should be answering in follow-up reports, since the burden of proof is upon her.
