OK, this editor apologizes for writing another Taylor Lorenz post. We had one Sunday and two already today, but this is too funny to pass up. While Lorenz was complaining on TikTok about a “certain class of media reporters” who expose what a hack she is, an outfit called Progressive Pictures was putting together a film called “Double Standard: A Taylor Lorenz Story,” directed by Charlotte Curry. Apparently, Curry looks into the question if Lorenz would be (mis)treated the same way were she a man, along with other burning questions. Honestly, watch this:
Taylor Lorenz has been made a target of the same bullying and harassment she sought to report on. Would she be treated the same way if she were a man? Charlotte Curry's archival essay-documentary, DOUBLE STANDARD, is a foray into the rabbit hole of the times we're in. pic.twitter.com/n9n4QrdYWq

This just has to be her alt account , right ?

She is the bully.

Q: Would she be treated the same way if she were a man?
A: No, of course not. A man would not have had an archival essay-documentary made about his bullying and harrassment in support of his reporting on bullying and harrassment without calling him out as a hypocrite.

Her situation is the result of her choices.

She looks pretty good for a 49-year old

No she wouldn't be treated the same as a man, she would be told to tough up and turn off her computer.

Taylor Lorenz is such a paragon of journalism and integrity that she got fired from New York Times for defamation, and demoted at Washington Post for bullying her teammates.

If she was the same person in a man’s body, yes, she would be treated the same. She is incredibly annoying, condescending, and a flat out liar. There are plenty of men that get this treatment too, and it’s because they are bad people.

This woman is no victim. She actively harassed and sought to vilify people she didn't like and then cried foul when she got a taste of her own medicine. A man wouldn't get special treatment or consideration, why should she?

She's awful. No race, gender or identity will change that. Full stop.
— Mike Winmill Ⓜ️ (@mikewinmill) September 4, 2022
She would be treated far worse if she was a man.
— Vorenus (@o____principe) September 4, 2022
no she would not

We’re sure we’ll be convinced when Progressive Pictures releases this documentary.
