As Twitchy reported earlier, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was the target of “a deeply disgusting incident” Wednesday when BlazeTV contributor Alex Stein recorded himself calling her his “favorite big booty Latina” and a “hot tamale.” She said that there have been “core security breakdowns” at the Capitol since January 6 and that it’s not a safe place for women and LGBT people. “I fear for all of the journalists here,” she added.
Politico congressional reporter Sarah Ferris said that Ocasio-Cortez on Thursday asked to speak with female and LGBT reporters to warn them about Stein, who reportedly “is not currently credentialed.”
Inside Capitol just now, Rep. AOC asked to speak with "female and LGBT" reporters to warn us that the man who harassed her is affiliated with credentialed news outlet
She said her staff called Capitol police 5x to get them to do something

Female? What’s that?
— TWM (@Luke_11_13) July 14, 2022
Strange how they suddenly know what a woman is when they need to complain
— MasculineMillennial (@MascMillennial) July 14, 2022
Did you ask her what law had been violated?
— Cernovich (@Cernovich) July 14, 2022
Capitol Police released a statement Thursday saying Stein had not broken the law.

He shouldn’t have done that. She’s not trying to eat a meal with family or friends at a restaurant. Seriously, that behavior shouldn’t happen. Derp…
— Horn Sr. (@sr_horn) July 14, 2022
Well well well, if it isn't the consequences of my own actions.
— Snarkansas Goober (@TheOzarkansan) July 14, 2022
She called the police? Because words? 😂😂😂

I thought this was kinda lame at first and now I realize @alexstein99 is trolling on a level we have just not seen before. 10 moves ahead of AOC, what a legend.
— Coach Taylor (@JimEagle55) July 14, 2022
He is a legend. She hasn’t even gotten it yet.
— 🩸🕯jlenoraw 🕯🩸 (@jlenoraw) July 14, 2022
He’s a troll and comedian. He’s not affiliated with anyone and he’s not breaking any laws. I thought AOC was supporting getting into the faces if politicians. Protests should make people uncomfortable according to her

It’s fascinating how people convince themselves a situation happened a certain way while reality is quite different lol
— Ryan The Eatingwarrior🇺🇸🐊 (@Eatingwarrior01) July 14, 2022
Do you feel safer after her warning?
— FugitiveMama (@fugitivemama) July 14, 2022
Politicians hate being trolled by comedians, what a shock
— Empedoclean⏳ (@ForteanK) July 14, 2022
Maybe @AOC should have dinner at Morton’s with Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh for comparison
— John (@johnnyA60) July 14, 2022
Did she tell you about the weeks she had to travel in armored vehicles?
Did any of those reporters ask her why she thought it was appropriate to sic the cops on a guy who said some rude things to her?
— Aldous Huxley's Ghost™ (@AF632) July 14, 2022
Hope they told her this is just what democracy looks like
— Big_A (@asomer) July 14, 2022
Gee whiz. I hope she wasn’t uncomfortable.

Be safe out there, LGBT journalists and people with the capacity to give birth.

We don’t recall if we posted this warning yet:
