Not everyone agrees with GLAD's assertion that gender-affirming care saves lives

President Joe Biden put out a prerecorded video for Trans Day of Visibility assuring all transgender people that he had their backs. Receiving much less attention was Detrans Awareness Day, where young people who detransitioned told their stories. Nobody wants to hear those, though.

GLBTQ Legal Advocates & Defenders (GLAD) put out one of those tweets Wednesday where you just keep repeating something until it becomes true.

We think we only found one positive reply in all of the comments, and there are a lot of comments. And where is the study showing that young people are likely to commit suicide if they don’t get “gender-affirming care?” That’s the gun they continually point at our heads.
