Bill Kristol, whose endorsement of Terry McAuliffe was 'big,' gives Beto O'Rourke some campaign advice

Remember when the Washington Post’s Jen Rubin said, “Trust me,” Bill Kristol’s endorsement of Terry McAuliffe for Virginia governor “will be big”? McAuliffe certainly appreciated it, touting Kristol as the “leading conservative in America.” Kristol, editor-at-large of The Bulwark, proved that his endorsement wouldn’t not, indeed, be big. We wouldn’t even say that Kristol is the leading principled conservative™ in America, but he still sees it as his job to give unsolicited advice to Beto O’Rourke in his gubernatorial campaign. Even some liberals thought O’Rourke went too far in crashing a news conference about the Uvalde school shooting, and Kristol has a better slogan.

Powerful. Maybe O’Rourke even saw it:

There sure were a lot of people who quote-tweeted Kristol and tagged O’Rourke. This slogan just might be the one that pulls out a win for him.
