This is disturbing, and it’s the synergy of the New York Times and White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre. At Thursday’s press briefing, a New York Times reporter asked if the Biden administration would support taking back the PPP loan to the gun dealer that sold the rifles to the Uvalde school shooter. Instead of circling back, Jean-Pierre asked for the name of the business — we guess she was going to get on it right away.

That’s completely unconstitutional. It is vindictive and malicious. The person or company that sold those weapons if they did so legally was within their rights. They did nothing wrong and should not be punished for it.
