Brady says Second Amendment was never intended to force us to live in the gun lobby's dystopia

The Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence sent around a press release decrying the decision, calling it outrageous and without precedent.

That fact might not, but the Second Amendment does.

They’re freaking out about “extremism” over 18-year-olds in California being able to buy AR-15s.

In 2019, 125 House Democrats voted to lower the voting age to 16, and some have argued voting is like “training wheels” for civic involvement and the age should be lowered to 13 or 14. Jill Filipovic had it exactly backward when she said we should lower the voting age to 16 and raise the age to buy a firearm to 30.
