Biostatistician (at least that’s what his bio says) Ryan Imgrund says that you can check out his website for daily COVID analysis. But it seems some people whom he believes lack reading comprehension misinterpreted a tweet he posted yesterday in which he asked whether they should cancel a school’s maskless assembly or burn the school down. (Editor’s note: We have to go with screenshots here because Imgrund locked down his account as we were writing this post.)
What you morons didn’t get was that he wasn’t actually suggesting they burn the school down; his point was hold holding a maskless assembly would be the equivalent of burning the school down.
OK, that’s better. Wait … no, it’s not. For the record, Imgrund has limited replies, so here come the quote tweets:

This guy doesn’t realize most of Europe has been this way for a year. Our schools in Florida aren’t burning down either. But hey, keeping believing in the cloth. 🙄 https://t.co/wqfDbNqZG2

Ppl really believe this stuff.
My kids go to two diff schools & both have been operating normally (no mandated testing or contact quarantines) & mask-free since July/August 2021 — w/ assemblies & sports & dances & everything.
Nothing ‘burned down’.
When will the hysteria end? https://t.co/5berHS8tTL

Remember in January when the Supreme Court was arguing the constitutionality of President Joe Biden’s OSHA vaccine mandate and Justice Sonia Sotomayor said there were over 100,000 children in serious condition, “many on ventilators”?

No it isn't? Jesus Christ, this has nothing to do with literally burning a school down. We have maskless assemblies and I am pretty sure our school is still standing. https://t.co/NxS8Y5DU85

Ahh, genius here with the new virtue-signaling flag in his handle has turned off replies to his hysterical overreaction.

My daughter's middle school had a band concert with all 3 grades, then 2 weeks later had the school musical. Miraculously the school still stands and no big scary outbreaks. At all. https://t.co/8kNJ0r1nyw

"For those who lack basic reading comprehension skills…"
I'm still blown away by just how snarky and condescending these people are. It wouldn't bother me quite as much, if they weren't in charge of nearly every aspect of our society. https://t.co/KOWJKa4bVi

Again, how many Americans sent their kids to school, maskless, all year, and the year before that? But Imgrund is Canadian, so maybe they have some sort of super-strain of COVID there that is killing kids left and right.
