So far we’ve heard reports of Republican senators “attacking” Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson at her confirmation hearing, but we’ve yet to hear anyone accuse her of gang rape. Experts like Ian Milhiser have done away with the “accusation” part of it anyway, with Milhiser tweeting that “Ketanji Brown Jackson did not attempt to rape a woman when she was in high school” while Brett Kavanaugh did.
Alana Abramson, who’s a producer for CNN’s subscription service CNN+, has a hunch that Republicans are “still mad” about the Kavanaugh hearing.
I thiiiiiiink – just a hunch – that Republicans are still mad about the Kavanaugh hearing

Coordinated, false accusations of gang rape will do that.

Coordination which included her current employer. They really seem to pick some winners over there at CNN pic.twitter.com/QwfAtF3x7U

I’m still mad Biden promised to crush the potential nomination of Janice Rogers Brown, who would have been the first black woman on the US Supreme Court.

The kavanaugh hearing is when I started following most of my political follows on Twitter. There was so clearly a right side and a wrong side.

Yes. Life changing moment for many of us who once thought Democrats were misguided but decent people.
— MikeNM (@MikeNM) March 21, 2022
It’s pretty rich that someone who works for CNN might not understand why Republicans are still pissed.
