Maybe when President Joe Biden trailed off remember the time he was arrested, he was referring to the time he was arrested trying to visit Nelson Mandela. No, wait, even the Washington Post’s Glenn Kessler gave that claim four Pinocchios. Biden made that claim in February of 2020, and the next day, his campaign tried to clean up after him, explaining that he was separated from his delegation: “There was a white door. There was a black door. He did not want to go through the white door and have the rest of the party go to the black door. He was separated,” a campaign spokesperson explained. That’s a long way from being arrested.
Any, have a listen.
BIDEN: "I did not walk in the shoes of generations of students who walked these grounds, but I walked other grounds. Cause I'm so damn old I was there as well…Seems like yesterday the first time I got arrested—anyway." pic.twitter.com/6QJhOdVgcX

Can someone please show us Joe Biden’s mug shot when he got arrested as some civil rights leader years ago?
The lengths Joe Biden is going to pander in Georgia is just sad. https://t.co/5EYUI74fq3

Did Joe Biden just claim he was arrested during the civil rights movement? That never happened. pic.twitter.com/VcKVS2hrN8

…Politifact gave Biden a "Pants on Fire" rating for his last claim of being arrested. https://t.co/bxD4AbK3bx Biden then walked it back but seems to have had that or another arrest in mind today while speaking at Morehouse College. https://t.co/VS2t3y6OoM

In this speech, Biden again lied about being arrested. He brought up a police encounter as an attempt to relate to his primarily Black audience, and seemed to imply that the arrest had something to do with the subject of the speech: voting/civil rights.

This was brought up a year or 2 ago when he mentioned this somewhere else. He tried to explain that he used the term "arrest" to mean "stoped", some kind of old school meaning. But here he is doing it again, please save us, lil baby Jesus from this travesty

He wasn’t arrested but has lied about it numerous times.

He is speaking to an audience that will believe anything he says.

Joe, you didn't walk, you drove the big rig there on the way to graduating near top of your law school class. Joker.

It's sad and pathetic how much he needs to be thought of as a Big Man.
