As Twitchy reported earlier, the Fairfax County Police Department has confirmed that Rick Saleeby, former senior producer on “The Lead with Jake Tapper,” is under criminal investigation after he was busted by Project Veritas for soliciting explicit photos of his fiancé’s underage daughter. CNN is quick to note that Saleeby is a former employee, as he resigned when the scandal broke.
We haven’t seen any coverage of this from CNN hall monitors Brian Stelter and Oliver Darcy, and we doubt Tapper is going to do a piece on his former senior producer. This tweet of his from 2017 has been resurrected now, though, and it hasn’t aged well.
