President Biden seems to think he can redeem his presidency by shutting down the coronavirus, which he apparently only thinks will happen when 100 percent of Americans have been double-vaccinated and boosted, even at the risk of losing their jobs. He claimed during the campaign to have a plan, and then we learned that plan was to have everyone wear a mask for just the first 100 days of his presidency. All he can do at this point is to tell people to get vaccinated — and warn the unvaccinated that they’re in for “a winter of severe illness and death.”
Word is the Omicron variant of COVID-19 results in mild illness at worst, but it’s prompting Biden to give yet another speech, this one on Tuesday:
NEW:A White House official tells NBC News
President Biden will deliver a speech Tuesday on this new phase of the pandemic "on the status of the country's fight against COVID-19, as the country sees rising cases amid the growing Omicron variant."

Is this his usual 4pm "Early Bird Special", or is Grampa gonna take a nap and do it in Prime Time?
— The Insolent Lemon 🍋 (@danders64) December 18, 2021
Couldn’t fit into his schedule today huh?
— Needles (@jokerramp22) December 18, 2021
Why wait until Tuesday and not this evening?
— Evan (@EvanCrum1319) December 18, 2021
Because it’s not an emergency.
— John (@1JohnWeise) December 18, 2021
Really? Tuesday? WTF? And seriously, who cares?
— winter pollen (@WinterPollan) December 18, 2021
Yes, on Tuesday, so he can practice for a couple of days. Maybe avoid a few flubs.
The less virulent variant. Will anyone ever mention that?
— KeepOnKeepinOn (@rockon2503) December 18, 2021
It is so serious, the speech can wait 4 days. Got it, thanks.
— Thornton Melon (@URaRa_Wisconsin) December 18, 2021
It takes at least 48 hours to recharge him and also he needs to practice reading.
— Steve Brezniak (@sbrezniak) December 18, 2021
Thanks, I’ll pass. I’m getting on with my life. Let’s go Brandon!

Sounds like the hysteria is lagging. Time to stir the hysteria pot again @JoeBiden

Just what we need…another speech to cause unnecessary alarm
— Brett Mckeithan (@willECU93) December 18, 2021
So you are saying we should avoid all network and cable news during that time.
One day the media and DC will wake up and realize this pandemic is pretty much over.
— K Blank (@kjblank80) December 18, 2021
Tell him not to bother.

He will deliver a speech written by someone who is cognitively competent. A speech written by someone who, like Biden, has been completely co-opted by far-left radicals.
Americans no longer care about about this administration's misguided dictates when it comes to covid.
— David Wohl (@DavidWohl) December 18, 2021
Is this when he finally announces his plan to “shut the virus down?”
— bP (@npo103) December 18, 2021

— Sick of Smart Guys (@realDavidMark) December 18, 2021
He’ll probably lie again and tell us that you need to get vaccinated so that you can’t spread COVID to other people.
‘Merry Christmas, everybody!’ Joe Biden promises that the unvaccinated are ‘looking at a winter of severe illness and death’ https://t.co/f96V3BpDqO
