Well, this doesn’t sound constitutional at all, but then again, it’s New York Gov. Kathy Hochul. We’d missed that it was Trans Awareness Week, but Hochul took that occasion to sign the Affirming Gender Identity in Utilities Act, which gives New Yorkers the right to be acknowledged by their “chosen names and correct pronouns.”

Nearly 80,000? Wow.

Someone made a good point — why is it that every piece of legislation proposed by Democrats is described as “common sense”?
