Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee says those Portland protesters who were arrested were just 'people wanting good things to happen'

As Twitchy reported, FBI Director Christopher Wray appeared before the Senate Judiciary Committee Tuesday and made the death of Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick even more of a mystery. He also got Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee thinking: only 300 people have been arrested in connection with the storming of the Capitol, while 1,000 people were arrested during months and months of rioting in Portland. Did we say rioting? We meant protesting.

It is alleged that 40,000 protesters were in D.C. with the mindset to kill Nancy Pelosi and Mike Pence. OK.

“Barely arrested.”

Authorities let Portland burn for months, but they’re using January 6 as an excuse to clamp down on civil liberties and keep Washington, D.C. populated with razor-wire fences and National Guard troops.
