As Twitchy reported, Rep. Liz Cheney laid into her colleague and President Trump’s “biggest nemesis” Rep. Ilhan Omar for her take on Hamas’ rocket attack on Israel this weekend, which quite notably failed to condemn Hamas, noting instead that “the status quo of occupation and humanitarian crisis in Gaza is unsustainable.” We guess Israel should stop provoking those rocket attacks on civilian neighborhoods by existing.
Once again stepping up to provide the counterpoint to the three freshmen “sisters” in Congress who always grab all the publicity (and are always being pounced on by conservatives) was Rep. Dan Crenshaw, who tweeted about Israel as though it were America’s longstanding ally or something.
Since Hamas talking points are being circulated in our political discourse, let’s get some things straight:
– Israel pulled out of Gaza in 2005.
– Hamas uses Gaza to launch rockets on Israeli civilians. 700 this weekend.
– Palestinians are held hostage by Hamas, not Israel.

Thanks so much for explaining this seemingly obvious thing. 🙏👌🇺🇸🇮🇱 god bless America

Mr. Crenshaw please keep doing what you're doing and how you're doing it.

Absolutely 100% true! Israel 🇮🇱 Forever!

Hey Dan, preach it bro!

– And … Hamas does not support a "two-nation" solution – only the full destruction and elimination of Israel.

Shhhh. Truth hurts.

Damn it, Dan! Why must you make sense? Thank you!
— KB (@DanielHongell) May 6, 2019
Ooh, a few of your colleagues are NOT going to like that accurate summation.
— Jeremy Ingham (@J_Ingham20) May 6, 2019
We’ve already seen the “conservatives slam” tweet in defense of Omar over her tweet.
So what you're saying is that the guys launching rockets at children while using their own children as human shields are the bad guys.
— Donald Peters (@sapian0112) May 6, 2019
Not to mention the very few Palestinians killed during those Hamas rocket attacks were rockets from Hamas that landed too short & didn’t cross the Gaza border. Most of these rockets were not guided rockets.

Thank you, someone knows facts here!
— Matt Schwartz (@mblackuk) May 6, 2019
The facts are always important for placing things into the proper perspective. Israel has never attacked any nation or group for aggression, but only to defend what has been given to them (by God). It is the radicals surrounding them who are always aggressive. Thanks for sharing.

Dan Chenshaw. Respected, responsible and right on.

Unfortunate that one has to explain things to fellow Congressional Reps and the media in terms even a 5-year-old can understand. Some of them seem to be immune to the facts. As @dbongino often says, they’re #Infactscinated at an early age.
— DaveO (@DaveOv10) May 6, 2019
It is utterly bizarre that we actually have congress members that openly support Islamist terror..
Never in my life did I think we would ever see that.
— AtticusLee (@AtticusLee6) May 6, 2019
Thank you for clarification…much needed.
— Joana (@JoanaWolfarth) May 6, 2019
This is factual information… how dare you! Twitter needs to ban you!
— johnsfoodstuffs (@johnsfoodstuffs) May 6, 2019
‘How many times will YOU defend TERRORISTS’?! Liz Cheney LIGHTS Ilhan Omar UP for blaming Israel for attacks … on Israel https://t.co/hS5w7oXHKH
