CNN’s Brian Stelter, along with Julie Ioffe, Karen Tumulty, Philip Bump, and many other journalists, claimed that if nothing else, the Mueller report proved that the reporting done by the mainstream media during the two-year investigation into collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia was “on the mark.”
So why did it take until a couple of weeks before the report’s release for Democrats to play it down after hyping it for two years? Because anyone watching or reading those mainstream news sources had been bombarded with the idea that President Trump was guilty and was on the road to impeachment.
We know journalists think a lot of each other, so we guess attendees of this year’s World News Day conference in Toronto will be thrilled to have the host of CNN’s “Reliable Sources” on hand to help explain why fact-based journalism matters.
Introducing our host for #WorldNewsDay 2019, @brianstelter ! Chief media correspondent for @CNN Worldwide, and anchor of @ReliableSources . Tickets are available for purchase here: https://t.co/rQ9AB5tvOn #cndnmedia #journalism #toronto pic.twitter.com/0YEV0vSedt

You pick to host that is not an independent fact-based journalist… the guy is a tool for Zucker and he is the most biased liberal agenda-driven guy on TV

This past Sunday @ReliableSources was mired deeply in third place behind @MediaBuzzFNC and @amjoyshow for the twenty-first consecutive week, plummeting out of sight: https://t.co/AxM03dOqJQ

America stopped watching @brianstelter. This past Sunday @ReliableSources sank out of sight: https://t.co/i9bh50f9nb

“For the first time in recent memory, the CNN show didn’t place in the top 150 cable shows in the 18-49-year-old demo.”
You mean the host of the show who’s ratings didn’t even get into the top 150 last week….great choice here, guys. Totally not a circle jerk.https://t.co/eNwRFC5Dc7

Some of the best journalists in the world came from Canada. Robert MacNeil and Peter Jennings come to mind. America stopped viewing @brianstelter, as the ratings attest. Why are you not inviting @cbcian, a great Canadian broadcast journalist?

Um, Stelter works cheap? Everyone else was busy?
Theres an easy $50 in it if you keep his passport.
