Just cancel it: Amy Schumer won't appear in any Super Bowl ads in solidarity with Colin Kaepernick

It’s going to be a rough year for football fans, and not only because singer Rihanna reportedly turned down an offer to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show in solidarity with Colin Kaepernick.

As if that weren’t bad enough, don’t expect to see any clever Super Bowl ads featuring comedian Amy Schumer, last seen being arrested (at her request) at a protest outside the Brett Kavanaugh confirmation hearings.

Was Schumer even offered any Super Bowl spots? We don’t know, but in any case, you won’t be seeing her face during the big game, reportedly to show support for Kaepernick’s protests against police brutality.

Sorry, everyone.
