'I am you': Alyssa Milano recites 'A Survivor's Prayer' for #NationalPoetryDay

You know when something is shot in black-and-white it means you’re looking at serious art, not some piece of entertainment.

Nevertheless, we were pretty entertained watching actress and activist Alyssa Milano beat her chest as she recited her new poem, “A Survivor’s Prayer,” to commemorate National Poetry Day. Hold on to your hats, though: Milano rips back and forth between Greek myths like Sisyphus to Twitter hashtag movements like #MeToo.

It didn’t escape some people’s notice that the video was posted by MoveOn:

Yep … it was founded during the Clinton impeachment hearings to encourage legislators to drop the charges and just “move on.”
