All of those celebrities who decided they weren’t moving to Canada after all after Donald Trump was elected president might have another option; in response to President Trump announcing his decision to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel on Tuesday declared his city a Trump-free zone.

Jason Howerton of the Independent Journal Review reports that Emanuel told DREAMers they have nothing to worry about, adding that “Chicago, our schools, our neighborhoods, our city, as it relates to what President Trump said, will be a Trump-free zone.”

Hey now — according to the Chicago Tribune, shootings are actually down by 387 this year compared to last, with only 2,586 people having been reported shot this year.

Before anyone packs their bags and body armor, know that Emanuel can’t actually keep Trump out of the city. Earlier this year, however, students at Howard University demanded not only that the school declare itself a sanctuary campus but that the president be banned from all school buildings as “a direct threat to the sanctity of our safe space.”

All in favor of declaring Chicago a no federal funding zone?
