After they had been online for a couple of years, Salon finally decided to delete a couple of controversial pieces and maybe soften the outlet’s apparent pro-pedophilia stance.
Salon was blasted for publishing a piece called, “I’m a pedophile, but not a monster,” inspiring the author to publish a follow-up about how his defense of pedophilia made him a target of the vile right-wing hate machine. So, only right-wingers gave him a hard time for trying to normalize pedophilia? That actually very, very sad.
Why the BBC would decide now is a good time to follow Salon’s lead escapes us, but here’s where some of that TV licensing fee is going:

Is this a real post?

The agenda to normalize pedophilia marches on. Sorry, IT'S NOT WORKING!
— annieone (@annieone3) June 17, 2017
Normalising the concept is the first stage to getting it accepted. This needs to be stopped. I am ashamed of you, BBC.

Good God above, BBC hit a new low
— Viking Tiger (@viking_tiger) June 17, 2017
What is your malfunction BBC
— Holly Mayberry (@mayberry_holly) June 17, 2017
BBC please don't start this acceptance bullshit. We should never have this behaviour.
— TMDsport (@tmdsport) June 17, 2017
Just remember we have to pay £147 a year to look at this utter drivel.
— Jack Atkinson (@Jack__Atkinson) June 17, 2017
seriously this is what our tv licence pays for? absolutely disgusting
— Joshy W (@Bigfat3mo) June 18, 2017
i demand a refund for my license fee i object to my money being used to normalise and rationalise child abuse
— Pete (@Nurgscre8or) June 17, 2017
Is this a joke? Of course sexual attraction to kids should always be condemned. Why is it either/or in his mind?
— Kat (@mostly_sleepy) June 17, 2017
What steps did you take to ensure that this man is telling the truth about never having abused kids? His word?
— Kat (@mostly_sleepy) June 17, 2017
Seems to me the left intends to normalize or apologize for everything that doesn't contradict their social/political agenda.
This is sick.— dogsbody (@DwightCooper16) June 17, 2017
Stop it Children all over this country have been damaged for LIFE through the depraved yearnings if pedophilia. Don't try to make it normal
— Susan (@MomWifeGrammy) June 17, 2017
Hold on here! So you put a pedo article trying to normalize pedophilia, yet there is a depiction of suffering abused child in your pic?? ???
— ☯Sabrina? (@PsiquicaSabrina) June 18, 2017
Pedophilia is NOT an orientation. It's part of the cycle of abuse. This article fails to acknowledge that distinction, which is terrifying.
— Loops (@astro_mloop) June 17, 2017
The more leftwing the media is, the more they are trying to normalize pedophilia. Pedophilia is seriously wrong people.
— summer lee (@littlesummer17) June 17, 2017
Wow. Just wow. Please stop. It is universally wrong across all cultures. Fugg that.

I know who's not coming near my house
— TheRemnant (@ArgentAspect) June 18, 2017
Pedophilia IS well understood; DSM-5 classifies as a psychiatric disorder & a paraphilia; effects on victims so ruinous it DESERVES stigma!
— Marie von Astra (@marievonastra) June 17, 2017
Sickening .. emotional immaturity and emotional disfunction. Destroying a child's innocence is grounds for prison and castration
— Lisa Jean Feellove (@lilmisslisajean) June 17, 2017
This is beyond foul. How dare anyone seek this subject for any reason other than condemnation and accountability.
— SthrnMissus (@SteelnMagnolias) June 17, 2017
Trying to make paedos into victims now? BBC, does your brazen propaganda have no limit?
— Mr. Paleface (@FightFan1972jc) June 17, 2017
Are you trying to construct another identity group to advocate for?
