Is wasn’t too long after Pittsburgh Police Chief Cameron McLay finished speaking about the “crisis of trust in the police and the criminal justice system” at the Democratic National Convention that reports began coming in of protesters outside storming the fencing erected around the perimeter.

Law enforcement outside the Wells Fargo Center most definitely began feeling under siege as darkness began to fall and protest marchers reconvened around the convention. Colin Deppen of Pennlive.com was keeping an eye on the proceedings outside.
