Hollywood actor Robert De Niro was a guest speaker at Dubai’s World Government Summit. He told the audience “that he was visiting from a ‘backward’ country suffering from ‘temporary insanity,'” the Associated Press reported.
According to De Niro, the United States is suffering because last week the head of the Environmental Protection Agency, Scott Pruitt, said global warming isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
“I am talking about my own country, the United States of America. We don’t’ like to say we are a ‘backward’ country so let’s just say we’re suffering from a case of temporary insanity,” he added.
De Niro said the United States “‘will eventually cure itself by voting our danger leader’ out of office,” the AP reported.

Just because someone doesn’t agree with your policy stances doesn’t mean that they’re crazy.
Did he mention what policies he would prefer and, sorry to do this but, would they make the temperature any different? How much? Says who?

Of course not. That would require some real train of thought.

He’s acting like an ass clown scientist. So both.
He's in a hyper-misogynistic oil state saying this. Unbelievable.

At least someone sees the irony.
Why doesn't he just move to UAE and do his film festival there?

Why would he want to leave a lavish lifestyle?
Then move to one of those wonderful forward moving countries located in the sand!

They’re so forward thinking that they oppress their own people.
And here we were always told that’s taking steps backward.
He said this in a country that is stuck in the Year 11.

Hopefully he was trying to be ironic and he isn’t really this stupid. Although that’s doubtful.
The political policy belief of a politician does not define the beliefs of a country or its citizens sir.

De Niro is a Hollywood elitist who thinks we’re all sheeple.
Can women drive where he’s at?
— Kevin Rea (@DatDudeKR) February 11, 2018
That would be a big fat NO.

It’s sad that his thought process is so jacked up.
He is very much welcomed to stay in the very well advanced Middle East.

Maybe a few weeks in the sandy 120-degree desert would do his brain some good.
And the actor is the expert? Typical Hollywood!
— Michelle Berluti (@mmberluti) February 11, 2018
He’s rich therefore he assumes he knows better than us average folk.
And did he fly to the Middle East on a private plane to lecture oil sheikhs about Trump's backward climate change policies?
— Password is Taco (@pw_is_taco1) February 11, 2018
You know that private jet is a gas guzzler that’s releasing toxic emissions into the air that will kill us all! But it’s okay, because he spews about climate change.
Do these #HollywoodElites think at all before they open their mouths and spout their rubbish in the most backward places on earth #Idiots #RobertDeNiro and company … pic.twitter.com/07ChzHobq7

Line up the puke buckets! It’s comin’ in hot and heavy.
Flown in on a private plane (I assume), paid to give a speech on Climate Change & how 'backwards' his privledged life is in the US by the same Middle East that promotes female oppression and Fossil Fuels
