Let me begin this story by saying I am not really a gamer, I am just a book nerd, in particular, a HARRY POTTER book nerd, so I know a little bit about how Leftists get something in their head and try to boycott it and how much I HATE IT!
It happened with Harry Potter the books, the author, and Hogwarts Legacy the video game and now it seems people on the opposite end of the spectrum are upset over a game called STARFIELD because they offer pronouns. I have to say, I do not understand that. If a game wants to put pronouns in a game and you do not like it, just do not buy it. There is really no need to go wild and on a rampage about it or start a boycott. I think this is particularly true in GAMER WORLD.
Gamers do not care about pronouns. Of course, there are some super crazy activists who care greatly about silly things and they did try to destroy people's lives for playing Hogwarts Legacy, but that boycott failed and so did the attempt to hurt people over playing it. I feel like this attempt to keep Starfield from going anywhere will fail as well.
Gamers want to play a good game. A game they can immerse themselves in and have fun while doing it. If you never wanted to be a wizard at Hogwarts, just do not buy the game, if you are super opposed to picking pronouns, do not buy Starfield. I do not know when EVERYTHING including music, entertainment, and gaming became political but I for one am OVER IT.
Never thought I'd agree with Daniel Ahmad on anything but I do think boycotting a game over pronouns is cringe as hell.

I am going to be totally honest with you here. I have no idea who Daniel Ahmad is and I have never even considered playing Starfield. I do know and understand how the PRONOUN NUTTERS try to ruin everything so I felt like I could give this topic a little bit of attention without trying to pretend I am a super gamer. I agree with that post though, just say you do not want to play it, that you are tired of the Left forcing things down our throats, even in games, and then move along. Do not try and force others into making the same choice.
If you like the premise, play the game, if it is not your thing, don't buy it. Don't play into their hands and become the thing you hate. Feel free to say, OMG THIS IS STUPID we do not need 50 pronouns in a game. Fine, I have no issue with that, but do not try to start a boycott that everyone knows will fail and for the love of all nerds, do not throw a fit because somebody else likes and enjoys the game.
If you have been a conservative who liked comic books, regular books, TV, and movies for the last 20 years you along with me have realized, that we just have to like the things we like in spite of what the people making them may think of us. It is time everyone learns that lesson. The people making the stuff you like do not have to agree with you on everything for you to still enjoy it.
Most gamers do not care about pronouns, if they are included or not. Most normal nerds just want to enjoy what they enjoy without being treated like scum. Do I wish creators would stop trying to preach the Gospel of Liberalsims into everything I read and watch? I do, but I also do not want to become the poor excuse for humans that they are.
I will support the things I like. Hogwarts Legacy was AWESOME and I am not a gamer. I will never pick up Starfield, and if someone asks I would have no problems saying, I will pass but let's not force people to pass by acting like Leftists. I want to change hearts and minds with cohesive arguments, and I have found the more people know who I am and what I think, the more they are willing to have civil discussions. I have even changed a mind or two about the righteousness of the Left on occasion.
Go forth and GAME with or without pronouns. ;)
