Another day another J.K. Rowling is trending on Twitter story. This time she is trending because a bookbinder has decided to resell her books at a profit after he removes her name from the books. Of course, humans with more than one brain cell to rub together understand she STILL wrote the books and the ‘book artist’ is changing nothing, but let’s just allow ‘stupid to be stupid’ so we can point and laugh at them.

Pretend is the keyword in that sentence. They can read those books and pretend she did not write them, but the fact remains, she DID. She will also still be getting profits off the original book the binder purchases to butcher and then resell.

We doubt J.K. Rowling takes the time, but there is definitely copyright infringement involved in what the bookbinder is doing, particularly if he is making a profit off it.
Have these people read 1984, you think, and are using it like a guidebook? Or do they have no idea that someone has already described their authoritarian tactics and shown why they're a REALLY bad idea. I puzzle over this sometimes.

This tweet is a little misleading. Rowling’s name is not removed on a broad scale by the publisher. It is a single bookbinder doing it for profit but who knows how many he actually sells? it might be five it might be 500, but it is not from the publishing house.
She should be able to sue for this and stop their release.

It is never going to end. The Left gets crazier and yes, we will keep pointing it out, and we think eventually people will tire of it. More and more people will stand up and say they are insane, but they will not care and they will yell louder and become more irate. In general, it will just be even more of a mess, but we do hope more people get tired of it sooner than later.

We ourselves cannot imagine it. Most of us on the Right side of the culture war just do not buy things we do not like and we are ‘practiced hands’ at still enjoying movies, books, and entertainment from people who we do not agree with on politics. The Left does not seem to have that ability.
J.K. Rowling has not said anything transphobic, she literally is just trying to protect women and give them safe spaces.
Anyway, we hope the fake bookmaker gets sued, but we doubt she takes the time to do it.
