When the Left tells you who they are, and what they think -- believe them.
Bill Nye -- who is as much a climate scientist as I am the Queen of England -- has made it very clear what the agenda of the environmental Left is: destroy your way of life.

They're not even trying to hide it.
We've got to ruin your quality of life so Bill can feel morally superior. He won't be giving up his quality of life. Only the little people will.

It's always just for the little people.
There's also a racial implication here -- is Bill also saying people in third world nations shouldn't enjoy a better quality of life? That we should outlaw it in the name of saving the planet?

Bill Nye thinks we don't deserve a good quality of life.
I am sitting in my home, with air conditioning running and electricity powering the laptop I'm writing on. My home isn't fancy. I'll get to go to work in a reliable, gas-powered car (a Honda CRV). I have a fridge full of food, including bad-for-the-climate meat. This quality of life is pretty darned good.
This is worth repeating: the climate Left are not environmentalists. They are commies wrapped in green.
Watermelons, the lot of them.
It's about control and about putting forth a communist agenda under the guise of environmentalism. Don't fall for it.
They won't be giving up their cars, their mansions, their private jets. They won't be counting on unreliable on solar or wind power to heat or cool their homes.
They won't be eating bugs, or going vegan.
YOU will.
I will.
They won't. They won't make one sacrifice, one change. They've said as much -- John Kerry had to be shamed into flying commercial to climate conferences, instead of using his private jet. Bill Gates has said similar things.
And -- it bears repeating -- Nye has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. He's more of an actor and an activist instead of a scientist. He has no background in climate science. He worked at Boeing and then became a stand-up comedian who did a science act as part of his routine. That's how he became a TV host.
He is not in any way qualified to discuss climate.
Why does anyone take his opinion on anything seriously? Because he had a television show at one point? Because he says the things the Left likes to hear? The Left loves to point to experts and that we should 'follow the science' and then elevates people like Nye, or Greta Thunberg, who aren't remotely experts or scientists or interesting in anything but a political agenda.
So as this summer continues and the Left screams about 'excessive heat warnings' -- but also laments unnecessary air conditioning -- look around your house and ask yourself: are you willing to give up your standard of life so Bill Nye can feel better about himself?
I'm guessing the answer is no. I know my answer is no.
So act and vote accordingly.
