The Left used to be a little more subtle about their intentions. They just had a different vision for governing America, that's all.
But they've let that mask slip in a major way in recent years. They hold America, its foundation and history, as well as a significant portion of her populace in utter contempt. And they're no longer shy about it.
So when they say things like this, we should believe them:

The City of College Park, Maryland, hired a "racial equity" leader to spearhead its mission to eliminate systemic racism in its departments who has made statements defending violence and promoting the idea of a revolution against the United States.
Kayla Aliese Carter supports "Black liberation" through revolutionary means and said she is working with some activists to plan "how we will eat and live and grow after we burn it all down." She was hired to be a "Racial Equity Officer" under former Mayor Patrick L. Wojahn, who resigned from office after being arrested for child pornography.
According to the city's website, she assembled a team tasked with implementing a "racial equity" agenda across all city departments, affecting policies, practices, programs and budgets. However, after publication, the city told Fox News Digital that Carter doesn't oversee an entire team.
Let's be real: any other person, saying this about any other group or country would have been fired. Immediately.

College Park city manager Kenny Young released a statement Wednesday: "The City has been made aware of Racial Equity Officer Kayla Carter’s posts on her personal accounts. Ms. Carter’s views expressed on her personal accounts do not reflect the opinions, beliefs, and core values of the City of College Park and its Mayor and Council."
"The City is investigating the matter and will take appropriate action. This is a personnel matter and the City officials and staff cannot comment further on this personnel issue," it continued.
Ah. So now her social media accounts -- and the racist, violent, inflammatory statements therein -- are now personal.
If Carter were, say, a white man, would that same standard apply?
Remember Gina Carano? The 'Mandalorian' actress was fired from Disney for posts made on her personal social media accounts -- when similar posts made by 'Mandalorian' headliner Pedro Pascal (but from a Leftist perspective) received no comment, let alone firing. Carano is suing Disney, and rightly so.
It's the same story time and again: the Left can say or do whatever it wants with minimal (if any) repercussions.
