Steve Guest, special advisor for communications for Senator Ted Cruz, broke down the Sunday show coverage of the attempted assassination of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh:
How the Sunday shows covered the attempted assassination of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh via TVEyes.

Fox News Sunday covered— Steve Guest (@SteveGuest) June 12, 2022
Zero mentions from ABC, NBC, CBS, and CNN. We’d put on our shocked faces here but at this point, we don’t have the energy to pretend for these hypocrites.
Imagine if the roles in this scenario were reversed?
Would anyone like to claim that if a MAGA supporter were arrested outside of Sonia Sotomayor or Elena Kagan's house with a huge arsenal of weaponry, saying he wanted to murder them to stop their votes on Roe and gun control, that this media data would be the same? Anyone? https://t.co/qeW8fpyrxw

Anyone? Anyone?
Didn’t think so.
Tells you everything you need to know about the corporate media today. Shameful. https://t.co/81hAkyu7IA

It sure does, and it sure is. In what universe is an attempt on the life of a sitting Supreme Court Justice not major news? This should have been covered on all of the Sunday shows, and it most certainly would have been if this despicable threat had been directed toward one of the liberal justices.
If he was conservative and it was Ginsburg it would already be a lifetime movie of the week, with syndication to every network.

Or any liberal justice

Naturally, there are some folks who don’t think a person loaded down with weapons traveling hundreds of miles with the stated intent of committing murder is worthy of coverage since nothing actually “happened”.
The guy didn't even cone close to doing anything. No drama, no ratings. Not that difficult to understand.

It is true, that today’s media seems to be all about the drama and ratings, but it’s interesting that it only seems to be a story if it goes in one direction.
Fox News Sunday DID cover the story, and Senator Chris Coons had this to say to Brett Baier:

Well, SHOOT! I had no idea that loophole existed! I am upset and alarmed by Schumer, what should I say first?
— KentuckySnowBeast (@KentuckySnow) June 12, 2022
We had no idea that loophole existed either.
In conclusion:

Accurate, unfortunately.
